Wednesday, September 7; Day 11.

Today we drove the entire Going-to-the-Sun Road both ways. We took Corky. He was very good, but we did get him out almost every time we stopped at and overlook. I took some pictures which I haven't been able to transfer to my computer due wifi/internet issues. I will be using Judy's pics.

One of our first stops, since we had been part way up already, was Sacred Dancer Cascades. There was access down to water level. The water falling through was refreshing and the rock formations were fascinating.

Art was being made of the natural art.

More of the area.

From above we spotted the river/stream we followed much of the way up. The cascades were on this stream. It looks all tan, and much of the stream bed is dried rocks, but if one looks closely, the wet stream can be traced.

The sky became hazy during our assent. There are forest fires in the distant area.

We haven't seen wildlife here in Glacier Park. Judy did capture a crow today!!!

A very craggy ridge

Distances

Corky loved the park today!

I have no idea how the blog site decides how to show photos. The two tunnel window shots were next to each other!!!!

The shot below was of a sky I thought might have some rain but instead had smoke from fires.

Maybe tomorrow I can share some of my own shots from today.

Tomorrow we plan to take a scenic road around the south end of the parks around to Many Glacier where we were turned away from on Sunday. Until then, we are experiencing 3 seasons every day here. At night it has been getting down into the mid-50's and up into the mid-80's at the hottest point of the day.
