An abbreviated blog today even though it was a day filled with adventure. It is late and time for bed, but I just needed to share that it has been more than 20 years since I have sooo many stars and the Milky Way. It was mind blowing and, of course, impossible to take pictures of.

IN REVERSE ORDER OF THE DAY because I can't figure out how to rearrange the pictures.

The shots above are from our current campsite in Madora, ND

The next one shot is of the Knife River Indian Site. The plants in the bed are tobacco. The plaque said that young men rarely smoked, but that men of about 60 were done fighting and hunting so they grew tobacco to smoke.

Below are shots from the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center near Bismarck. A great museum.

Since Bismarck is the capital of ND, we had to see the building. Not your typical building. Judy ventured out to get the money shots.

No dome!
