South Santa Cruz Island Black Turtle Cove with Mangroves

                                         Cattle egrets perching on a mangrove island.

Brown pelican with plumage indicated all

his young had fledged.

This zodiak ride was on our first evening on the cruise. After we'd taken care of

the business of checking, two zodiaks took us to the cove. We also saw fish and other

bird types. The sun was setting as we came back to the ship.
